Plastichemix Industries, Vadodara

Plastichemix Industries is based in Vadodara, but we also have this setup here on the 5th floor of Godrej Eternia C. It’s right next to the Shopper Stop on the Old Pune-Mumbai Highway. This office handles the consumer care and lighting side of things. It’s a bit more of a corporate building than a factory floor, but inside it’s just us working through piles of data and logistics. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at screens to make sure everything is running right with our lighting products. The view from the 5th floor is okay, but we’re usually too busy to notice. Being near the highway makes it easy for people to find us if they have an appointment. We have a small team here that looks after the specific needs of our customers. It’s not a huge, sprawling office, just enough space for our desks and some filing cabinets. We deal with a lot of coordination between the production in Vadodara and the clients in this region. Sometimes things get a little chaotic when deadlines approach, but we’ve got a good system going. We aren't interested in using big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the supplies are moving and the queries get answered. It’s a daily grind like any other, focusing on the practical bits of the lighting industry and making sure the orders are correct.
