We are based at S-102 in the Sivaji Housing Soc over in Pune. If you know the area, building 40 is pretty easy to find. It is a local spot where we handle all things related to sports. It isn't a big corporate chain or anything like that. It is just a shop we run because we enjoy being around the game. Most mornings start with opening up the shutters and seeing who is already waiting outside. Pune gets quite lively, and our little corner of 411016 is no different. We spend a lot of time organizing rackets, counting cricket balls, and making sure the jerseys are hung up straight. Sometimes the place gets a bit crowded with boxes when a new shipment arrives. It’s a bit of a squeeze then. We don't have fancy lights or a big marketing team. It is just us and the customers who have been coming here for years. We know which kids are starting their first cricket camp and which uncles need new walking shoes for their morning rounds. The walls are covered with posters and some old equipment we kept for memories. It feels like home to us. We handle the sales, the complaints about tight shoes, and the chat about last night's match. It is a simple life and a simple business. We just keep things moving and try to be helpful when someone can't decide which bat feels right in their hands.
