Riya Digital Studio

Our studio is located right at Sai Chowk in Pimpri, which is a very busy area with a lot of people and traffic. We are situated quite close to the Khushboo Hotel, so people often use that to find us. The shop isn't very big, but we have managed to fit in all our cameras, lights, and computer equipment. Most of the day is spent taking passport photos or editing pictures from recent events. We have a small area with a backdrop where people sit for their portraits, and sometimes it gets a bit crowded if a whole family comes in at once. There are always photo prints lying around on the desk waiting to be trimmed or put into envelopes. The front of the shop has some of our work on display in the window, though the sun has faded some of the older pictures a bit. Pimpri is a loud place, so we usually have the door closed to keep out some of the noise from the street. When business is slow, we sit and chat with the shopkeepers nearby or grab a tea from the stall around the corner. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who handle the shooting and the printing. It’s a simple setup, and we’ve been here long enough that most people in the neighborhood know where to find us.
