You will find us at 26/27 on the Mumbai Pune Road. This is one of the busiest roads you can imagine, so there is a constant sound of trucks and cars passing by at all hours. Finolex Cables Ltd. has a significant presence here. We deal with cables, and that means lots of heavy spools and long lengths of wire being moved around. The site is big, and there is always something happening. Whether it’s a shipment coming in or a truck being loaded up for a long trip, the yard is rarely empty. Inside the office part, it’s a bit quieter, but you can still feel the vibration of the road. We have our desks, our ledgers, and a lot of coffee to keep us going through the long shifts. The Mumbai Pune Road is our lifeline, but it can also be a challenge when things get backed up. We are used to the pace of it by now. The building is solid and has seen a lot of years. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just calendars and maybe a few photos of the team from a holiday party. It’s a place of work, plain and simple. We show up, we manage the cable inventory, and we make sure things are moving. It’s a lot of logistics and physical labor, but it’s what keeps the lights on for us.
