Our office is over at Plot No. W-24 in the F-2 Block of the MIDC area in Pimpri, Pune. Being in Pimpri means you are surrounded by factories and big plants on every side. We have been in this specific block for a while now, and we have seen the area change quite a bit. The commute can be a bit of a headache with the Pune traffic, especially during the monsoon when the roads get a bit flooded in certain spots. Our space is functional, with enough room for the computers and the equipment we need for our tech work. It is not one of those fancy glass buildings you see in the IT parks; it is a solid industrial building that fits right in with the rest of the W-24 plot neighbors. Early starts help us beat the worst of the heat and the noise from the heavy engineering shops nearby. There is a small canteen nearby where we get our snacks, and that is where most of the local gossip from the other companies happens. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty. As long as the machines are running and the projects are on track, we are happy. It is a busy atmosphere, but we like the energy of the MIDC. There is always someone moving something or fixing a machine somewhere nearby, and that keeps us motivated to stay on task throughout the day.
