Pillay Auto Traders

We are located in Camp, right behind the Aurora Towers on MG Road. It is a prime spot, but the traffic can be a nightmare most afternoons. Pillay Auto Traders has been around for quite some time. We deal in vehicle parts and bits and pieces for cars and bikes. If you walk in, you will see shelves filled with boxes that have been there a while. It smells like rubber and engine oil inside, which is just how it is in this trade. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. It is just a counter and a lot of catalogs we look through. Sometimes we have to call around to find a specific part if we don't have it on the shelf. The regulars know they can just come in and ask. We don't do much fancy talking. We just find the part and give you the price. The building is an old one, typical for the Camp area. We have a small staff and we all do a bit of everything, from cleaning to billing. MG Road is always humming with people, so there is never a quiet moment. We don't have a big mission statement. We just sell auto parts to whoever needs them. It is a straightforward business. We try to keep the inventory updated, but things move fast. It is a lot of manual work and checking numbers.
