Pichku Foundation

Our office is situated over at Gat Number 1083/1/A in the Mauli Park area. This is part of the Markal MIDC in Khed, which is a bit of a drive out in Pune. It’s an industrial kind of zone, so there are a lot of trucks and warehouses nearby. Pichku Foundation isn’t in some high-rise downtown; we’re right here where the actual work happens. The space we have is straightforward. We have a roof over our heads, some desks, and a place to make tea. It can get a bit dusty because of all the construction and movement in the MIDC, but that’s part of being in an active area like Markal. We spend our days handling the logistics and the administrative side of things. It’s not the most glamorous location, but it suits us just fine. We know the other people working in the neighboring units. There’s a sense of community among the folks out here in Khed. Sometimes we have meetings that go on for hours, and other times it’s just quiet work on the computer. We like the fact that we’re away from the main city's congestion, even if the commute can be long. It’s a practical place for a practical team. We’ve got what we need to keep the Pichku Foundation moving forward every day without any unnecessary fuss or fancy decorations. It is just a normal workspace for our daily routines.
