Phinex Arts & Graphics

Our little shop is tucked away at Plot No- 34 /1 in Shitalnagar No. 2. If you are familiar with Dehu Road, you probably know the area well enough. It is mostly quiet compared to the main city, which we like. We started Phinex Arts & Graphics because we enjoy making things look right on paper and screen. The office isn't very big. We have a few computers that are always running and a bit of a mess of sketches on the side tables. Sometimes the smell of printing ink is pretty strong, but we got used to it years ago. It’s just a few of us here. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or anything. Most of the walls are covered with old projects or just notes we scribbled down so we wouldn't forget a client’s request. We spend our mornings drinking tea and looking at layouts. Sometimes a customer walks in with just a rough idea and we have to sit and draw it out for them. It’s not always easy, especially when the software crashes or a printer jams right when we are busy. But we just get on with it. It’s a local business and we know a lot of the neighbors. We don't have a big corporate structure. If you need something, you just talk to whoever is sitting at the front desk. It is a simple place with a lot of work going on.
