Our office for Petron Civil Engg Pvt Ltd is located in Pune. We are specifically over in Yerwada, which is a pretty active part of the city. The office itself is just a regular flat converted for our engineering work. We have desks pushed against the walls and shelves full of folders and technical manuals. Yerwada can be quite noisy with the traffic, especially during peak hours, but once you’re inside Building 37, it’s a bit calmer. We usually take turns getting coffee from the small shop around the corner. It’s a very human way to work. No one is wearing suits or acting like they’re in a boardroom. We’re just focused on the engineering tasks and keeping the company moving forward from our base in Pune. It’s a solid, no-nonsense place to get things done. We like the local feel and the fact that we can just be ourselves while working.
