Permanent Prestress is located in Pune, specifically over at Bawdhan. Our office is tucked away in Sanket Residency, flat 64 in house number 8. It is not a big corporate building or anything like that. We work out of a residential setup which keeps things pretty quiet and focused. Vitthal Dalavi is the person in charge here. Most of our daily routine involves dealing with prestressing work for various construction projects. We have some desks, computers, and a lot of technical drawings spread out. It’s a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. Sometimes the office gets a bit crowded with paperwork, but we manage to keep things moving. We’ve been in this part of Pune 21 for a while now and like the neighborhood. It’s easy to get to, though traffic can be a bit of a pain in the afternoons. We don't have a big lobby or a fancy sign. We just have our names on the door and get to work. Most days are spent on the phone or working through calculations. It’s practical work and we don't try to make it sound more complicated than it is. If someone stops by, they usually just find us at our desks. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the schedule. It is a simple operation and that seems to work well for the kind of engineering tasks we handle.
