Pci Environmental Services is located at 137, P-Block in Yashoda Nagar, Kanpur. If you know Kanpur, you know it is a city that is always busy with industry and trade. Being in the environmental services field here is interesting because there is always something to look at. Our office is a basic setup in a residential-cum-commercial block. It isn't a high-rise office building, just a regular place where we keep our tools and our records. The streets around Yashoda Nagar are always full of activity. We spend a lot of time out in the field, so the office is often quiet during the middle of the day. When we are in, we are usually writing reports or checking our equipment. The air in Kanpur can be quite heavy, which reminds us why we do what we do. We don't have a big team of sales people. Most of our work comes from being known in the local area. We don't use a lot of big words or try to sound like a giant corporation. We are just a local group of people who understand the environment in this part of Uttar Pradesh. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the gear we have to store, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks. It is mostly about the testing and the reporting that needs to happen every week to keep things running.
