Spring Flower Co Op Hsg Society

Living at D-5 Spring Flower in Panchwati is mostly about the everyday stuff that happens in a housing society. We have been here in Pashan for a good while now and the building has seen plenty of monsoons and summers. It’s a cooperative group, so everyone kind of knows everyone else’s business, but in a way that works for us. Usually, you’ll see the kids playing in the small common area after school or the older folks taking a walk when the sun goes down. The security guard at the main gate stays busy checking in visitors and the delivery bikes that seem to never stop coming these days. We spend a lot of time talking about things like the water tank levels or whose car is parked a bit crooked in the basement. It isn't a fancy place with a big gym or anything like that, just a regular block of flats where people get on with their lives. On Sundays, you might hear someone's television a bit too loud or the smell of cooking coming through the windows in the hallway. We have our monthly meetings where we sit around and discuss the maintenance fees and the painting of the outer walls which always takes longer than we think it will. It’s just home for us, tucked away in this part of Pune where it’s still relatively quiet compared to the main city roads.
