If you are ever near the Balaji Nagar Bus Stop on Satara Road, you’ve probably walked right past Sawant Plaza. We are in Shop No. 3, which is Parmar Digital. It’s a convenient spot because of the bus stop, but it also means it’s always crowded with commuters. We started this because we knew folks around Dhankawadi needed a place for quick digital prints without traveling too far into the city. The shop is small, and sometimes the smell of ink is a bit strong, but we’re used to it. Near Sagar Marble, the traffic is always heavy, so there's a constant hum of engines outside. We handle a lot of student projects and local business flyers. Most of the time, it’s just us trying to keep the printers running smoothly. If a machine jams, it’s a bad day, but we usually fix it ourselves. We don't have a lot of space for a waiting room, so people often stand around while their prints are coming out. It’s a very local operation. We know the tea seller nearby and the other shop owners in the plaza. It’s not a high-end studio; it’s a practical print shop where we do the work ourselves. We keep the doors open even when it’s raining hard, which happens a lot here. We just focus on getting the colors right and making sure the text is readable. That is what we do every day.
