We are out here on Takai Adoshi Road. Most days it’s just us moving drums around and checking the inventory lists. It gets pretty dusty with the trucks going by all the time. The shop isn't much to look at, but we keep the shelves stocked with all the different types of oils and greases that people around here need. Sometimes the labels on the jugs get a bit greasy, but that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with lubricants all day. We spend a lot of time on our feet. The morning starts early before the sun gets too hot, mostly because the metal drums get warm if they sit out. We’ve got a small desk in the corner where we keep the records. It’s mostly just paperwork and phone calls from people asking if we have a specific grade of oil in stock. We don't have a fancy waiting area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us in the back or near the loading dock. We’ve been at this location for a while now and the neighbors know us. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting and stacking, but it keeps us busy. The road outside can get backed up, so we try to get our deliveries sorted out before the afternoon rush starts. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to get things done without too much fuss.
