Our office for Paranjape Schemes (Construction) Ltd. is over at 401 Laxmi Narayan Towers. We are right near Nilayam Talkies in the Paravati area of Pune. It’s a well-known spot, so people usually don't have too much trouble finding us when they need to visit. We’ve been here in Pune 30 for a good stretch of time. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and stacks of building plans. We spend our days talking to contractors and checking on how the different construction sites are progressing. Paravati is a nice part of town, though it gets quite crowded when there’s a popular movie playing nearby. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just the steady work of putting buildings together. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually hear yourself think. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just handle the construction side of things and try to keep everything on track. The lift in the building is a bit slow, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. It’s a practical setup for a construction company. We know the local soil and the local rules. Most of the staff has been with us for years, so we’ve become a bit like a family. It’s just how we operate. We just want to get the job done and go home to our own families at night.
