Parajape Schemes (Construction) Ltd.

We are set up at 12/B in the Arti Apartments, which is right across from the Suhasini Karyalaya on Sinhagad Road. If you are from Pune, you know exactly how busy that road gets, especially near Vadgaon Bk. Parajape Schemes (Construction) Ltd. has seen this neighborhood change a lot over the years. We used to be surrounded by much more open space, but now it’s all buildings and shops. Our office isn’t anything too special to look at; it’s just a place where we keep our files and meet with the guys from the sites. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and talking to contractors. There’s usually a bit of cement dust on someone’s shoes and the phone is always ringing with questions about bricks or plumbing. We don't have a big marketing department writing fancy speeches for us. We just focus on the buildings we are working on. Pune is a growing place, and there is always something being dug up or built nearby. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy for the workers to get to. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic from the road, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just keep our heads down and try to make sure the walls are straight and the roofs don't leak. That's really all there is to our daily routine here.
