Working in landscaping means we are rarely actually in the office. Our place in Nigdi, tucked between the 3rd and 4th Cross on 1st Main Road, is mostly where we store the tools and the heavy bags of soil. 335/28 is the number on the gate if you’re looking for us. We spend our days getting our hands dirty, moving plants around, and trying to make sure the grass actually grows. It’s a lot of physical labor and the sun can be really brutal some afternoons. Nigdi is a quiet enough area compared to the city center, which we like. We have a lot of shovels, mowers, and shears lying around the yard. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes around the cross roads, but we manage to get them through eventually. Paradise Landscape Service isn't about fancy designs on a computer; it's more about being on the ground and seeing what works in the actual dirt. We’ve been at this for a while, so we know the local soil and what the weather does to it pretty well. It’s a lot of sweat and sometimes things don’t grow the way you want them to because the rain is too heavy or not enough. But we just keep at it. Most of the neighbors know us by the sound of our equipment starting up early in the morning. We like the work because we’re outside most of the time, even if we go home covered in mud and tired at the end of the day.
