We have bins full of different sized bolts and drawers that haven't been sorted in years. It’s a bit of a treasure hunt sometimes when a customer asks for something unusual. The neighborhood of Kalsi Nagar is old and the streets are narrow, so we get a lot of foot traffic from people living nearby. We don't have a fancy display window. Instead, we just hang some of the bigger tools outside the shop front so people can see what we have. My dad started this place and not much has changed since then. The counter is worn down from years of people leaning on it. We don't use any high-tech systems to track what we have; we just look at the shelves and know when it’s time to order more. It’s a bit dusty and the lighting isn't the best, but we know where everything is. People come to us because they know we will probably have that one specific screw they can't find anywhere else.
