We set up shop here in Pune, specifically in the MHB Colony at Laxmi Nagar. If you know the Parvati area, you know it's a busy place with a lot of people living and working close together. Our unit is L-10/150. It’s a small office for Panacea Construction. We don't have a giant sign or anything, just a small one by the door. Inside, it's pretty simple. There are a couple of tables, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of project folders. We spend most of our time out at different sites, so the office is more of a home base where we meet up in the mornings or finish things up in the evening. It can get pretty cramped when we have more than four people inside at once, but we make it work. The neighborhood is lively. You can hear the sounds of the city all day long. Sometimes it’s hard to concentrate with the traffic outside, but we’re used to it by now. We aren't some high-end firm with a lobby full of awards. We are just local builders and staff who know the streets of Pune well. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the next steps for whatever we are building. It’s a basic way to work, and it suits us just fine. No fancy talk, just getting the job done each week.
