Palande Couriers

You can find Palande Couriers over at Panch Rasta on the Pune-Satara Road. We’ve been at this spot, number 31, for quite a while now. Our days are mostly filled with piles of envelopes and boxes stacked up against the walls. It’s a constant cycle of sorting things out and sending them on their way. The Pune-Satara Road is always jammed with traffic, which makes our job interesting. Our delivery guys are on their bikes all day, weaving through the cars to make sure the mail gets where it needs to go. We have a small desk where we write down the receipts and take in the parcels. It’s a bit cramped inside, especially when a big shipment comes in at once. We don't have any fancy tracking screens or high-tech robots. It's just us, some logbooks, and a lot of rubber bands. Sometimes a package gets a bit wrinkled or the ink on a label smears, but we do our best to keep things moving. People in the neighborhood know us by name, and we know who is usually home to sign for things. It’s a simple operation. We open up, sort the morning bag, and get the riders out on the road. By the time evening rolls around, the office is usually empty of packages but full of paperwork. We just keep doing the same thing every day because people always have stuff to send to each other.
