We’ve been here at Plot 03 in Erandwana Society for quite a while now. Most people know us because we’re right near Dinanath Hospital. It gets busy around here, but that’s just how it is. We mostly deal with people who are going through some really tough times health-wise. When someone is in pain for a long time, it doesn't just hurt them, it affects the whole family. We try to step in and help out where we can. It’s not fancy work. We just sit with families, talk about how to manage the day-to-day stuff, and see if we can make the physical pain a bit less heavy. Some days it’s just about making sure they have what they need at home. We started this because we saw so many people coming to the hospital who needed more than just a quick check-up. They needed someone to look at the long term. Our office isn’t huge, but there’s always someone around to talk. It’s a lot of walking and visiting people in the neighborhood. We don’t have all the answers, but we show up. People come by the society gate and ask for directions all the time. If you’re looking for us, just head toward Dinanath and you’ll find us easily enough. We’re just local folks trying to help other locals get through the hard days without feeling like they’re doing it all by themselves.
