P E S Modern Law College

If you walk down Law College Road near Udhana, you’ll find us at 85/86. It’s usually pretty loud with all the students talking about their exams or complaining about the heavy law books they have to carry around. This building, P E S Modern Law College, has a lot of stairs and we spend a good chunk of our day going up and down them to get paperwork signed or to check on the classrooms. The morning starts with the sound of chairs scraping the floor and the smell of ink from the printers that always seem to jam at the worst possible time. It is a bit chaotic when admissions are happening, and the front desk gets swamped with people asking the same questions over and over. We have a small staff room where we try to eat lunch, but someone usually knocks on the door before we can even finish. The traffic on Law College Road outside never really stops, so you just learn to speak a bit louder to be heard. It is a busy place, but it feels good when the halls are full and things are actually happening. We don’t have fancy decorations, just a lot of notices pinned to the boards and rows of desks that have seen better days. It is just a regular college day for us, every single day, trying to keep the schedule on track and the students focused.
