Oxford Properties

This branch of Oxford Properties is in Chinchwad, inside Abc Housing Society No.2. It’s right near Pawana Nagar, which is a fairly quiet residential pocket compared to the main roads. We are in house number H 5. It feels a lot more like a community center than a real estate office because the neighbors are always stopping by to chat or ask about something. We deal with a lot of the local housing stuff here. The office is basically one room with a couple of old computers and a printer that jams whenever we are in a hurry. I usually have a stack of newspapers on my desk and a half-finished cup of tea. We don’t do things in a very formal way. If someone needs a place, we just grab the keys and go for a walk to show them around. It’s nice being inside a society because you get to know everyone who lives there. Sometimes the kids are playing cricket outside the window and it gets a bit noisy, but I don’t mind it much. It’s a lot better than being in a dark office building. Most of our work is just keeping records and making sure the owners and tenants are on the same page. It’s simple, everyday stuff. We’ve been in this spot for a good while and it feels like home now.
