Orange County Foundation Royal Orange County is found at Survey No 29/1 in Pimpri. Our setup is right where the action is, near the actual ground we are working on. We deal with foundations and the early stages of building, which means we spend more time in boots than in dress shoes. The office is basically a functional space for us to keep our equipment records and time sheets for the workers. It gets hot out here in the afternoons, so we usually have a couple of fans going full blast just to keep the air moving. We aren't a big corporation with multiple branches; we are just here at this site making sure the structural stuff is handled properly. There is a lot of dirt and noise involved in what we do, so it’s not for everyone. We spend our mornings checking the levels and making sure the concrete pours go according to the plan. If there is a problem with the machinery, we’re the ones out there trying to fix it so we don’t lose the whole day. It’s a very practical kind of life. We talk to the neighbors about the noise and try to keep things as tidy as a construction site can be. People stop by the gate to ask questions, and we just tell them how it is without any fancy language. It’s just honest work on the ground where we spend most of our waking hours.
