Omkar Constructions Pvt. Ltd., Pune

Our office is located in Narayangaon, specifically the Manjarwadi area, which is part of the Junnar taluka. It’s a bit of a drive from the main Pune city, but we like it out here. Omkar Constructions has been operating from this spot for a while. Being in a more rural part of the district means we do things a bit differently than the city firms. We know almost everyone who walks past the office door. The work usually involves local projects that help the community grow. We don’t have a massive team of executives; it’s mostly just us and the guys on the sites. We spend a lot of time outdoors, checking on progress and making sure the materials arrived at the post. The weather out here in Junnar can be a bit unpredictable, which sometimes messes with our schedule, but we’ve learned to plan around it. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or using fancy titles. We’re just people who know how to build things and wanted to do it for ourselves. Most of our meetings happen over tea at the local stall or right on the construction site itself. It is practical work and it requires a lot of patience. We’ve had some long days and late nights, but that’s what happens when you’re trying to get a job done right in a place where everyone knows your name.
