Omega Pds Mri Scan is located right at 27 Sadashiv Peth. It is a place where people come when they need to get pictures taken of their insides because a doctor asked for them. The building is just a regular one on the street, and we have been here for quite some time now. When you walk in, you’ll see a small waiting area. It’s usually got a few people sitting there waiting for their turn. The MRI machine itself is in a back room and it makes a lot of noise, which can be scary if you aren't expecting it. We try to tell everyone that it's normal. Our staff includes a few technicians and some people at the front desk who handle all the forms. We aren't some giant medical center; it’s just this one spot. Sometimes the schedule gets backed up if an emergency comes in or if the machine needs a bit of maintenance. We just deal with those things as they happen. Parking around Sadashiv Peth can be a real headache, so most of our patients get dropped off or take a rickshaw. We open up pretty early in the morning. The coffee we make in the back isn't great, but it keeps us going through the long shifts. It is a busy life, but we get to meet a lot of different people from the neighborhood every single day.
