You can find us at the Atmanagar Complex, just behind the Ambedkar Statue in Kharalwadi. Being in Pimpri, it’s always loud and crowded outside, which keeps us on our toes. At Om Safety Equipments, we deal with all kinds of gear like helmets, gloves, and boots. The shop is a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock on the shelves. People come in looking for stuff to keep their workers safe on construction sites or in the big factories nearby. We spend most of our time counting boxes and showing people how the straps on the masks work. It is nothing too complicated. We aren't some big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us here making sure the orders are right. Sometimes we get the addresses mixed up or the delivery truck shows up late, but we fix it. The building is older, so the stairs creak a bit when you walk up to our unit. We keep the doors open when it's hot to get a breeze. Mostly, it is just about managing the inventory and talking to the regulars who have been coming to us for years. We know most of the local shopkeepers around the statue. It’s a tight-knit area. We just stick to what we know, which is safety supplies, and try to stay out of the way of the heavy traffic.
