Om Cone Furniture

We’ve been at shop nineteen in Parmar Plaza for a while now. Most people know the spot on Shivarkar Road because it’s right in the middle of everything in Fatima Nagar. If you’ve walked past, you’ve probably seen some of our stuff sitting out front when we’re unloading a new shipment. It’s a busy little corner of Pune. We deal with all sorts of furniture, mostly chairs and tables that people need for their homes or small offices nearby. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot in. Some days it’s just us moving things around and making space for new stock that comes in from the makers. People stop by after finishing their shopping at the other stores in the plaza. We talk to neighbors, show them what’s available, and sometimes help them figure out what fits in their living room. It’s not fancy here. There’s usually some dust from the road and we might be busy on the phone, but that’s just how it goes during the week. We try to keep things straightforward. If someone needs a cupboard or a sofa, they come in and look. We don’t have a big fancy showroom with bright lights, just the floor space we have. Most of our regulars are from around the Wanawodi area and they just pop in when they’re passing by. It’s a local business and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street and the people who live around here.
