Om Art Centre

You can find us at the Pavitra Classic Building in Somwar Peth. We are in Shop No. 3, right near the Jain Mandir. If you know where Vijay Bakre is, we are just behind there. It’s a busy little corner of the world, especially on festival days when the temple gets crowded. Our shop isn't very big, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. It’s often a bit cluttered with supplies and things we are working on, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time here, from early morning until the sun goes down. People around Somwar Peth know us as the place that’s always open and usually has something going on. We don't use any fancy systems to track things; a lot of it is just written down in notebooks or remembered. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it hasn't failed us yet. The building itself is sturdy, though the stairs can be a little dark in the evenings if the bulb is out. We’ve made this little shop our home over the years. There’s no big corporate vibe here, just a few people who like what they do and want to stay in the neighborhood. We don't put on any airs. If you walk in, you’ll see us exactly as we are, usually in the middle of a project with dust or ink on our hands. We try to be helpful when people ask questions, even if they aren't buying anything that day.
