Oasis

If you are looking for us, we’re located at Ranjangaon Ganpati, specifically in Saguna Park at the Char Rasta. It’s right by the Odhav area and quite close to the Ranjangaon MIDC. Being near the industrial zone means we get a lot of workers and people passing through the four-way intersection all day long. The shop is called Oasis, and it really is a bit like that for some of the folks who stop by during their breaks. It’s a simple building, nothing too modern, but it does the job. We keep the shelves stocked with the things people usually need when they’re in a hurry or on their way home from the factories. The dust from the road is a constant battle, but we try to keep the place looking decent. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, which is just part of living in this area, so we just keep the doors open for light. We don’t have any fancy marketing or big slogans. It’s just a place where you can get what you need without a lot of talking. The staff here are mostly locals who have lived around Ranjangaon their whole lives. We know when the shift changes happen because the street outside gets suddenly packed with bikes and buses. It’s a bit noisy at times, but it’s a good place to be for us and the neighbors.
