Nutshell Engineers

Our workshop is located out in Vadgaon Budruk, right near Hingane Khurd. It isn't the easiest place to find if you aren't familiar with the 41306 area, but we have been here long enough that most of the regulars know the way by now. Nutshell Engineers is basically just a group of us who actually enjoy working with machines and fixing things that stop running. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil or metal shavings, which is just how it goes when you are actually doing the physical work. We spend a lot of our time looking at blueprints or trying to get a specific part to fit just right. It can get pretty noisy when the machines are all running at the same time, so we often have to shout to hear each other. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist to answer the phones. Usually, whoever is closest to the desk just picks it up with grease on their hands. Some projects take much longer than we expect because that is just the nature of engineering. You think it will be a quick fix, and then you find three other problems that need sorting out. We mostly just focus on getting the job done so the client can get back to their own business. It is a straightforward setup here without any unnecessary bells and whistles. We handle the technical side of things and stay busy until it’s time to head home.
