We are located in Aundh, specifically in the Manik Colony over at Sai Sukh Apartments in Chaitraban. It’s more of a residential-feeling area, which we actually prefer over a cold office block. Working out of an apartment building means the space feels a bit more like a home, though it’s definitely all business once you step inside. We have desks squeezed into the rooms and the main area is where we keep the big printers. Manik Colony is a quiet enough place, though you get the usual neighborhood sounds throughout the day. We do a lot of our work sitting around a table, looking at sketches and trying to fix mistakes before they become real problems. It’s a lot of back-and-forth between us. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything like that; people usually just know where we are. We drink a lot of tea while we look at computer screens and talk about heights and widths. Chaitraban is a nice part of Aundh to be in. We’ve got some old folders stacked in the corner that have seen better days, but they have all the info we need from past projects. It’s just a group of us trying to get the drawings right for whoever walks through the door. No fancy mission statements here, just the daily routine of architectural work and making sure the plans are solid. It works for us.
