We work out of Ganeshmala on A M Road. It’s a part of town that has a lot of history. Dealing with cotton means there’s always a bit of lint in the air and on our clothes. It’s just part of the job. The office isn't much to talk about, just some desks and a lot of samples lying around. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers and suppliers. It’s not a fast-paced corporate environment. Things move according to the seasons and the harvests. We’ve been here for a good while, and most of the people on A M Road know our faces. I usually start the day with a walk around the storage area to see what’s come in. The smell of raw cotton is something you get used to after the first few days. We don’t have a fancy website or a big social media presence. We mostly deal with people we’ve known for years. It’s about being reliable and showing up every day. Sometimes the rains make transport difficult, but we manage to get through it. Our team is small, and we mostly just focus on getting the bales where they need to go. It’s a simple business without any unnecessary complications. We like the Ganeshmala area because it’s got a good feel to it. We’re just a local cotton company doing our work without making a big fuss about anything.
