Nk Associates

Our office is right in the middle of Shanivar Peth. If you know Pune, you know how crowded it gets around here. It’s an old part of the city. We’ve been in this building for several years now. It isn't a glass tower or anything. It is a regular space with some old files and a few computers. We do associate work. Most days are just spent on the phone or typing things out on the keyboard. The traffic outside can be really loud in the afternoons. Sometimes we step out for a snack at the local stalls nearby. There is a lot of history in these streets. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. Usually, one of us just looks up when the door opens. We handle paperwork and coordinate with different people. It is a lot of back and forth. Sometimes the internet acts up. We just deal with it. People come to us when they need things sorted out. We keep it simple. There is no need for complicated talk. We know the local area well. My desk is always covered in papers. I try to organize it every Friday but it never stays that way for long. We just keep working through the pile. Life in Pune is fast, but in Shanivar Peth, things feel a bit more traditional. We like it that way. It is home for us. We just do our bit every day.
