It is just a practical workspace for getting things done. People often drop by without an appointment just to check on a small detail, and that’s fine. It’s a very informal way of doing business, which seems to suit this part of town. The chair is a bit squeaky and the fan hums a little too loud in the afternoon, but it’s a good place to think and draw. By the time the evening rolls around, the desk is usually a mess, but the work is finished.
