Our office is in Shakuntal Bungalow. It's right on N.D.A. Road, quite close to Navbharat High School in the Shivne area of Pune. It’s a bungalow, not some glass tower in a business park. We like it that way because it feels more relaxed. We work on developing land and buildings. Usually, there are blueprints rolled up in the corners and the smell of tea brewing in the back. We spend a lot of time talking to people about where they want to live or what they want to build. Shivne is a growing part of Pune, and we’ve seen a lot of changes from our windows over the years. We aren't a corporate giant. We are a small team that handles the local details. Sometimes the traffic on N.D.A. Road is loud, but we’re used to it. We don't have a glossy brochure. If someone wants to know what we do, they come into the bungalow and we show them the sketches. It’s a very direct process. We have a couple of old computers and some desks that have seen better days. We don't mind. The focus is on the projects and making sure the permits are in order. It takes a lot of patience to do this kind of work in a city like Pune. We just take it one day at a time, making sure each step is done properly before moving to the next.
