Nirmitee Interiors

Our workspace is tucked away in B-12 Vasundhara Apt. over in Katraj. Pune is a big city, but this corner feels a bit more like home to us. We handle interior work, mostly focusing on how spaces look and feel once you’re inside them. It’s not a huge showroom with bright lights. Usually, there are samples of wood, some fabric swatches, and a few drawings spread out over the table. We spend a lot of time visiting sites, so the office is often quiet during the middle of the day. Katraj has its own pace, and we've gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. People stop by to talk about their flats or houses. We don't use big words or try to sound like we're in a magazine. It's just about making a room work better for whoever lives there. The walls in the office could probably use a fresh coat of paint themselves, but we're always busy with someone else's project. We use simple tools and traditional methods mostly. If a client wants to see what we're doing, they just come up to the apartment. There's usually a lot of dust from samples or some sawdust if we've been measuring things out. It's a practical business. We don't have a fancy receptionist or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We just get to work and try to finish things on time. It's how we've always done it here in Pune.
