Our place is at 271 Shaniwar Peth, right next to the Suvarna Sahakari Bank. If you know the area, we’re directly opposite Devi Heigh. It’s a tight street, and finding a parking spot can be a real headache some mornings. We’ve been operating out of this building for some time. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and boxes. We aren't trying to be anything flashy. We just show up, open the shutters, and get to work. Dealing with the daily logistics of a small business takes up most of our energy. We handle a lot of different things throughout the week. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, while others are a total scramble to get things moved out the door. The building is older, so it has its quirks, like the way the door sticks in the rainy season. People in the neighborhood know us by name, which is nice. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing fancy paperwork. Most of what we do is hands-on. We just try to keep things organized and make sure we don't lose track of orders. It’s a simple setup, but it works for what we need to do. We’ve seen shops come and go on this street, but we’re still here doing our thing day after day. It isn't always easy, but we manage to stay busy enough to keep going and pay the bills on time.
