Our place is over in Balewadi, Pune, specifically at 25/1 near the NIA post office. It’s a well-known spot because of the National Institute of Construction Management & Research being right here. The area has changed a lot over the years, becoming much busier than it used to be. We are part of that whole ecosystem. The building itself is built for work, not for looking pretty. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, files, and people trying to get their tasks finished. We have a mix of staff who have been here for a long time and some newer faces too. It feels like a real community because we all know each other’s names and how we take our tea. We don’t spend time writing fancy mission statements or anything like that. Our focus is just on the research and management work that happens inside these walls. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, and we just deal with it like everyone else does. It’s a very grounded way of operating. People come here to learn and work, and we provide the space for that to happen. You won’t find any polished sales pitches here. If you walk into the office, you’ll see us looking at blueprints or spreadsheets. It is honest work in a busy part of Pune, and we just try to keep up with the pace of the city while staying focused. There's always a bit of noise from the Balewadi traffic, but it keeps us on our toes throughout the day.
