Newaskar Logistics Services is based at 13/2 in Nana Peth, Pune. If you know the area, you know it’s one of the older, more crowded parts of the city. For a long time, we have been working out of this small office. The space is filled with old registers and files because we still like to keep physical records of things. It’s a very busy neighborhood with a lot of traders and small shops, so the noise of the street is always there in the background. No big signs or fancy lighting here. Usually, the door stays open to let some air in while we work on the logistics schedules. Most days are spent on the phone or talking to people who drop in to check on their goods. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure everyone knows where they are supposed to be. Since we have a small team, everyone knows each other's families and stories. It’s a very local way of doing business. We don't promise anything we can't do and we don't use a lot of big words to explain the work. Moving stuff from point A to point B is just what we do every day. It’s not always easy, but we’ve gotten pretty good at navigating the chaos of the Pune streets. There is always a new problem to solve but we find a way through the daily pile of work.
