Newaskar Logistics Service

We are situated on the Kharadi Chandannagar Road in Pune. Our office is quite close to the Saibaba Mandir, which makes it easy for people to find us. Newaskar Logistics Service is a local operation and we’ve been here for a good while. The road outside is always packed with traffic, which is just part of living in Pune these days. We spend our days coordinating with transport trucks and making sure the loaders are doing their bit. It’s a small office and it gets a bit dusty with the windows open. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just want to get the work done so we can go home to our families. Some days the phones never stop ringing and it can get a bit stressful. We have a lot of paperwork to keep track of, and sometimes the printer acts up just when we’re in a hurry. Our team is small, just a few of us who’ve known each other for a long time. We know the shortcuts around Chandannagar to avoid the worst of the traffic. It’s not the most exciting job in the world, but it’s what we know. We try to be practical about things and just deal with problems as they come up. If a truck is late, we just call the driver and figure out what’s going on. It’s simple work for local people and we like the routine.
