New Laxmi Battery

The shop is located on Varchha Road near Pirangut Mahan Kchalla. It is not a very big place, but we have enough room to keep a good stock of batteries for most vehicles. You will see New Laxmi Battery right there on the main stretch. Most of the day is spent testing old batteries that people bring in when their cars won't start. Sometimes they just need a good charge, other times they are completely dead and need replacing. It gets a bit messy with the tools and the heavy battery casings lying around. We keep some water and rags handy to clean things up, but it’s a garage-type environment. The road outside can get quite busy with all the trucks passing through Pirangut, so it stays pretty loud. We have been at this location for a while now and most of the locals know where to find us. If you’re coming from the main road, just look for the stacks of black battery boxes near the door. We don't have a big waiting room or anything like that. People usually just stand around and talk while we check their equipment. It is straightforward work. We help you get your engine running again and that's about it. Dealing with acid and lead all day isn't for everyone, but it is what we do here. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons, making it hot inside, but we keep the fans going.
