New Ganga Battery

If you go down to Wagholi E-3, you’ll see our shop, New Ganga Battery. It’s been sitting there for a while now. It is a small place, mostly filled with rows of batteries and the smell of lead and acid. My hands are usually a bit dirty by midday from moving things around or checking terminals. We don't have a big waiting room with coffee or anything like that. Usually, people just stand out front or sit on the plastic chairs while we check their stuff. We get a lot of trucks and bikes coming through this part of Wagholi. It is a noisy area, especially with the construction nearby. We just focus on keeping the stock full. When the power goes out in the neighborhood, we get a lot of people coming in for backups. It’s just how it is. Sometimes we stay late because a customer is stuck on the road and needs a swap. We are not a corporate chain, just a local shop where we know most of the people who walk in. The shelves are a bit crowded and the lighting could be better, but it works for us. We try to be honest about what’s dead and what can still run for a few more months. It’s a straightforward business. We wake up, open the shutters, and see who needs a start today. It is a bit messy, but that is just the battery business for you.
