You can find us at H. No. 348/1A in Anandwadi, which is over in Shahapur. It's a busy part of Belgaum, Karnataka. We run New Consolidated Construction Co.Ltd. from this spot. It’s a regular house that we converted into a workspace. There’s usually a lot of boots by the door and muddy tracks because we’re always coming back from site visits. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try to keep the noise down when we are loading the trucks early in the morning. We do a lot of masonry and concrete work around the city. The guys in the office spend most of their time looking at maps and permits while the rest of us are out getting our hands dirty. It isn't a corporate environment at all. We sit around the big table, drink some coffee, and figure out the schedule for the week. Sometimes things go wrong, like a machine breaking down or a delivery being late, but we just deal with it as it comes. We’ve lived in Karnataka all our lives, so we know how the weather affects the curing of the slabs. If you need to find us, just look for the house with all the ladders outside. We don’t use fancy software, just old-fashioned hard work and a bit of patience. That’s how we’ve kept going all this time in Shahapur. Most of our work comes from people just seeing us out on the street working.
