Neeraj Tools & Press Component

We are situated on Chikhlee 2nd Main Road. It’s a fairly straightforward setup we have here for making tools and press components. The shop isn't huge, but we’ve managed to fit in all the press machines and tool-making equipment we need. Most of the time, the air is thick with the smell of cutting oil. We spend our days working on small parts that most people would never even notice, but they are important for whatever machine they end up in. The noise of the presses hitting the metal is something you just stop hearing after a few hours. Chikhlee is a busy area with a lot of small-scale industries like ours, so we are surrounded by people doing similar work. We don't have a big corporate office or a team of salespeople. Usually, the phone rings, someone asks if we can make a specific tool or a batch of components, and we tell them if we have the capacity. It’s a very manual process, and we spend a lot of time checking the tolerances on the parts we produce. If a tool isn't right, the whole batch is ruined, so we have to be careful. The shop gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but that’s just part of the job. We keep the doors open to get a bit of a breeze from the main road, though that mostly just brings in more dust. It’s a simple life and we like the work we do. We just keep our machines running for as long as we can.
