Neel Kamal Fasteners is located along the stretch of Sinhagad Road, not too far from the Lokmat Press. If you know the Green Field Hotel, we are right in that same general area. It’s a hectic part of Pune with the Solapur Road traffic always moving, so there is never a quiet moment outside. Our shop is filled with rows and rows of bins. We have nuts, bolts, and all the small fasteners you can think of. Most of the day is spent weighing out orders or looking through drawers for a specific thread size someone needs. It gets a bit dusty with all the metal around, but that is how it goes in this trade. We see a lot of local contractors and guys from the nearby workshops coming in. The Green Field Hotel is a good landmark because people often get lost trying to find our exact door. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment arrives, there are boxes everywhere for a few days. We just move around them. It is just us here, making sure the bins are full and the counts are right. We don't have a big fancy showroom, just a counter and a lot of steel. Sometimes we go over for a quick tea near the press during the afternoon break. It is a steady life here on the road, just dealing with the hardware that holds things together for everyone in the neighborhood.
