Navadhira Educational Foundation

Navadhira Educational Foundation is based out of the Punavle area in Pune. We are specifically located at Survey No. 38/5/2 in Tajne Vastimalwadi. It’s a bit of a growing area, and you can see new buildings going up all the time. We started this because we noticed that as the city expands, the local schools and students need more support. We aren't teachers ourselves, mostly, but we are people who value what education can do. Our space in Tajne Vastimalwadi is pretty simple. We have some tables, some old computers, and a lot of hope. It’s not a corporate environment at all. You’ll often find us just sitting around discussing how to get more supplies for the kids or how to help a student who is struggling. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but that’s just life here. We don't let it stop us. We are just regular Pune residents who want to see the kids in Punavle get a fair shot. It’s about being a steady presence in the neighborhood. We don't make big promises, we just show up and do the work that needs doing. It’s been a learning process for us too, but we’re getting there, one day at a time.
