S G D Car Decor is located at Shop No. 6 in the Puke Building. We’re over in the Nasawadi Pura market area, right near the Ashoka Hotel. If you know the market, you know it’s a crowded place with people and cars everywhere. We spend our days fitting seat covers, fixing sound systems, and putting on various accessories. The shop is small, so a lot of the work happens right out on the pavement or in the small space in front. It’s usually pretty loud with the market noise and the music we’re testing in someone’s car. We’ve got shelves full of lights, mats, and perfumes for cars. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We’ve been here in Nasawadi Pura for a while, and we know most of the other shop owners around Survey No. 4 35. People stop by to chat even if they don't need anything for their vehicle. We don't have a big waiting room. Most customers just hang out at the hotel next door or stand around while we finish the job. It’s a busy life. Sometimes we’re working on three cars at once and it gets a bit chaotic. The floor is usually covered in little bits of wire or plastic after a busy afternoon, but we clean it up eventually. We aren't trying to be a high-end garage. We just fix up cars so they look a bit better.
