We’re up on the fourth floor of Rahul Towers, which is right near Indira Shanker Nagari Hill on Paud Road in Kothrud. Being in Flat No 401 gives us a decent view of the area, though we’re usually too busy with the medical electronics to look out the window much. Nasan Medical Electronics isn’t your typical corporate office. It feels more like a workshop in some ways. We have benches set up for testing boards and soldering components. There’s usually a pile of wires somewhere and a few circuit diagrams pinned to the walls. Kothrud is a busy part of Pune, so there’s always life outside, but we keep it pretty focused inside. We’re a small group, and most of us have been working together for a long time. We don’t really go in for big meetings or long-winded emails. If someone has a question about a piece of equipment, they just walk over and ask. It’s practical and saves a lot of time. Sometimes the building elevator is slow, or we have to wait for a delivery that got stuck in Paud Road traffic, but that’s just life here. We don't try to sound like a giant multinational company. We’re just local people who know a lot about medical electronics and spend our days making sure they work like they should. Being near the hill means there's a bit of greenery around if you look for it. It's a nice contrast to all the electronic components and grey desks we deal with.
