We don't have polished floors or air-conditioned cabins for everyone. It’s about the raw material and turning it into something useful for the clothes people wear. The staff here are mostly local people from the nearby villages. We know the land and we know the crop. Life in Beed can be tough when the rains are late, and that affects the business too. We just keep going. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We spin cotton and we sell it. It’s a basic necessity for the textile industry. We’ve been part of the Dharur landscape for a bit and we plan to stay for a long time. It’s a quiet life here until the harvest starts, then everything gets very busy with trucks coming in and out at all hours. We just focus on the quality of the thread and getting it ready.
